INTRODUCTION

THE PLAY:

Manage the Party is focused on leadership execution, coaching consistency, operational awareness, and creating a strong 5 Star Rally House experience through intentional leadership presence. MODs and Store Leaders set the tone of the Party by consistently observing the business, coaching in the moment, reinforcing service behaviors, and leading the team through connection, accountability, and follow through.

Strong leadership presence requires more than task management. Leaders must actively evaluate what Guests see, hear, and feel throughout the store while supporting Team Members through real-time coaching, Rally Rounds, Skill Drills, and operational direction. The goal is to create a consistent environment where service expectations, operational standards, and Party energy are reinforced throughout every shift.

This playbook provides leadership tools, coaching resources, Rally Round guidance, and daily planning support designed to help MODs effectively lead the Party, strengthen Team Member performance, and maintain consistent execution across all areas of the business.

 

IMPACT:

Strong leadership creates stronger execution, stronger service behaviors, and a more consistent Guest experience. When leaders actively manage the Party through observation, coaching, accountability, and follow through, Team Members gain confidence, expectations become clearer, and stores operate more effectively.

  • Zone Chart: Daily staffing and leadership planning tool used to organize coverage, Rally Rounds, and business priorities.
  • Party Host: Team Member responsible for creating a strong Welcome experience and maintaining awareness near the front of the store.
  • Skill Drill: Quick roleplay or coaching activity used to reinforce service behaviors and development.
  • Power Hour: Optional leadership reset focused on re-energizing the team and improving execution during slower or challenging periods.
